Geo-Tagging

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Geo-tagging is old news but that doesn’t mean it ain’t still awesome!
I just want to encourage people to tag their photos on the map when they travel. For example, this picture below not only tells you I traveled to Chicago with my friend Tom, but that I went to a Cubs game and that I sat along the 1st base line. The only thing you can’t see is that I had to leave the game early to catch the Southshore train back to South Bend and the Cubs hit a homer in the 9th to win it (bummer).

To Geo-Tag on your Flickr account go to “organize” and then “map” (located on a tab on top). To view geo-tags click “map” below pictures. If they are not tagged, “map” will not appear.

Stop Motion Photography Videos

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

Here are two fun music videos that use stop motion photography. So, pretty much taking tons of photos and stringing them into a video. After all, thats what video is (just usually with more pictures per second). Even if you don’t like the music, the visuals are great.

Modest Mouse Video Contest
This was done by fans! How cool is that. Using 4131 photoshoped and then printed frames from the bands music video. And then photos of the prints hung up around the city.
